Lower Silesia was once one of the riches regions in Europe and in the world. Transfered to Poland in 1945 become one of the lands regained as we call them. Or one of the lands exploited as the inhabitants often refer to them. It is a land of palaces, quaries, marvelous cities and rich history. A land at the same time forgotten and neglected by man, once more discovering its pride and richness. A land beautiful yet austere, rough, stony. A land that fits the magic of carbon transfer so well.
All images in this portfolio are carbon transfers on Fabriano Artistico paper printed in limited, numbered editions of 15.
