Albumen nude

William John Newton, an English painter, proposed in 1853, that the camera could produce artistic results if the photographer would keep an image slightly out of focus.
Since then a variety of solutions has been tested; special techniques like the gumprint or the oilprint, lenses, filters, even digital manipulation. Since the pictorial softness has always been close to my heart, I tried yet another solution; a double coated X-Ray. All images are albumen prints direct from large format negatives
