One photographic technique that couldn’t be ommitted is the silver gelatin print. After all, this is the technique I grew up with and used first of all. And of course, it would be silly to reject the hundred plus years of research that brought the photographic papers and negatives to their current perfection.
All my prints are made on baryta fibre based papers prividing the ultimate in tonality and depth. Thanks to careful archival processing they also guarantee longevity. Apart from factory made materials, I also use hand made glass plate negatives and hand made chloride and bromide silver gelatin papers.
